I first started making robots when my parents gave me a Raspberry Pi 3b+ for my 13th birthday. It was unlike the usual lego sets (but I would soon learn it had some similarities). I learned a little bit of python and built my first robot. Soon after, I set up SSH and camera streaming so I could drive the bot from anywhere around the house (I may have also connected 12 double AA batteries on a 9 volt motor in an effort to increase speed). I changed the chassis to a caterpillar track to so I drive over the pesky carpet bumps.
Now I have built several drones, a 3D printer, a computer, and model sail boats, among others.
